The city of Tiburon sits on a peninsula reaching out into the San Francisco Bay with stunning views of San Francisco, the Marin Highlands, and Angel Island. A short ferry excursion from Tiburon to Angel Island brings with it even more choices for outdoor recreation. Take an afternoon bike ride on the many trails crisscrossing the island. Then take in the sunset falling over the Golden Gate Bridge. Back in town, the summer concerts, Friday Nights on Main, and block parties bring the community together every weekend in the summer months. For the shoppers, visit the iconic Ark Row, so named because of their being housed in what was formerly ark boats.
